Tio’s Tex-Mex restaurant now open on San Antonio’s Northwest Side with puffy tacos, nachos, tamales and more
The owner of Mr. C’s Chicken and Waffles and 亚洲游国际集团hometown Burger added Tex-Mex to his restaurant portfolio today with the opening of Tio’s Tex-Mex. The new restaurant is located inside the same strip center as its sister properties off Huebner Road near Interstate 10 on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.
Tio’s features an extensive menu that includes a large lineup of soups, salads and appetizers such as trash can nachos. The Tex-Mex part of the menu features 12 items, including chile relleno, puffy tacos, brisket guisado and Benny’s Plate, named after owner Benny Costello, that comes with two cheese enchiladas, a tamal, carne guisada, fresh tortillas, rice and beans.
Breakfast tacos, street tacos and tortas are also on the menu, as well as burritos, fajitas and sizzling steaks. Tio’s also features a fresh lineup of Mexican sweet breads daily.
Tio’s is currently doing business with limited breakfast and lunch hours through June 28.
